A gunman was caught on video shooting four men as they sat on a bench outside a Bronx NYCHA housing complex the same day a woman was killed by her boyfriend who then took his own life in the same development, cops said Sunday.

The chaos unfolded at the Pelham Parkway Houses in Allerton on Friday.

Four men are expected to recover after they were shot outside a building on Wallace Ave. near Astor Ave. about 4:40 p.m. Friday, cops said.

The gunman, dressed in a peach-colored hoodie and a surgical mask, was walking across the complex’s courtyard when he spotted someone in a white shirt running and rushed to follow, surveillance video released by the NYPD Sunday shows. As he rounded a corner he pulled out his gun and shot off multiple rounds.

Two men, 26 and 20, were shot in the butt, while a third, 22, was hit in the ankle and a fourth, 28, was struck in the foot. The four victims were taken to local hospitals by private means.

Earlier that day, an ex-con shot his girlfriend in the same housing project before he turned the gun on himself, police said.

Pete Richardson, 42, shot Kristina Jones, 41, in the neck outside her fifth-floor apartment on Williamsbridge Road near Waring Ave. just after midnight Friday, cops said.

After the fatal shot, Richardson walked into the woman’s apartment and killed himself.

Jones lived with her family and two cats and Richardson would visit every few weeks.

“He murdered my sister,” said Jones’ sister who asked not to be named. “I hate him for what he did to my sister but I also feel sorry for him. I don’t know what kind of demons he had.”

The family had a positive impression of Richardson before the slaying.

“I’m protective — If I would have seen anything I would have stepped in,” the sister said. “He was nice to us ... I don’t know what made him do that.”

After the senseless deaths, Jones’ family is left with more questions than answers.

“There are only two people who knew what happened and they’re both gone,” said Jones’ father. “All I want to do is get my daughter buried.”

Jones served two state prison terms, both for attempted robbery convictions.
