Redlands Festival of Arts kicked off its return to live exhibition Saturday, May 28, after two years of coronavirus precautions.

More than 100 artists were set to participate in the two-day live juried art event at Smiley Park in downtown Redlands over Memorial Day weekend.

Festivities continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 29, and include the Art in the Park exhibition sponsored by the Redlands Art Association, food trucks, a student artist competition, a kid’s fun art creative space, the Redlands Symphony Petting Zoo, free books from Redlands Sunrise Rotary, a high school student chalk art competition, and three musical stages including one at First Presbyterian Church of Redlands’ new park-let.

The festival was founded in 2013.
